Aug 27th, 2008 by Peak District Tourist Guide
Probably one of the best loved national parks in the world (and certainly the most visited by all accounts) the Peak District continues to attract tourist from seemingly every corner of the globe.
The area has long been a tourist hotspot and has a very colourful and chequered past and a huge amount of ancient history tracing back to the earliest kept records in the country.
There are town and villages galore for you to explore and a whole lot more.
Often the question is asked what you can do in the Peak District but in reality a better question should be what can’t you do?
With activities ranging from canoeing to cycling , hiking and hill walking , rock climbing and bird watching. If you really want to get a birds eye view then you could also even go for a balloon ride, a glider flight or even take a helicopter tour.
The Peak District – Never a dull moment
