A holiday cottage in the UK could save you a lot of cash. North Devon could be a perfect destination for those wondering where to go. A range of visitor attractions in the area will keep you entertained. But where should you think about renting?
Well, to get you started have a look at the most chosen holiday cottages to rent in North Devon at the moment. Starting with the cottages that other people are looking at and hiring the most is a fantastic way to go. It’s almost like a recommendation. If other people are hiring those cottages above whatever else is on the market, then they could also be the best holiday cottages for you as well. Other visitors know the best villages to go to, the top locations to stay in. So why not gain from their experience and knowledge and just see what they are selecting!
One of the frequently booked holiday cottages in North Devon is known quite simply as ‘Barn’ and is found in the Kings Nympton area of North Devon. Maybe its name gives the idea that it is a barn conversion! It is a big large building, able to sleep 12 people, in 4 bedrooms – 2 twin and 2 family bedrooms. Barn is really the largest of 7 conversions on the same farm, which is probably the reason it is well booked. It’s excellent for groups, and if your group needs more beds, then there are a a couple of smaller properties to rent out at the same time. It is set in a beautiful location, with scenic views, a cobbled court yard and a pond. The near by village of Kings Nympton is ‘typically English’, with beautiful thatched cottages to admire. It would be nice if we all lived in such pretty villages!
At the other end of the size spectrum is The Roundhouse, in Swimbridge. This is part of a set of cottages, this one with just space for a romantic getaway for a couple. There are plenty of areas of interest within a short distance and the cottages are sited within their own gardens and even have their own outdoor heated pool for summer use.
The third most booked North Devon cottage is Huntsham Barn, which as a takes 5 nestles in size neatly between the previous two cottages. Just goes to show how size doesn’t matter! Huntsham Barn is situated in Huntsham, North Devon. The area is a conservation area and as such it is rich in wildlife. This is a converted slate stone barn and is very expansive, with its own south facing courtyard and is surrounded by wooded valleys and hills. It’s an excellent place to choose if you want to stay in somewhere relaxing and quiet to visit.
